‘The process of making anything, is a tender statement of aliveness. Mark making has been a personal salvation throughout my experience of chronic illness. In times where my body is reminding me of my precious mortality, painting re-affirms a life long practice of investigation, curiosity and acceptance.
Vibrant colour invites me to say yes to life, playfulness invites me to say yes to life, the act of making something out of nothing invites me to say yes and yes again.’
